Rihanna makes history, adds EIGHTH O2 show after selling out ALL seven...

Rihanna has snatched Beyonce 's lacefront wig today and left the poor chick with a very scalded scalp. Stans will NOT be happy but it was coming either way. Rihanna has beaten their Queen for being the first black female artist to have so many sold-out shows at London's 02. "We just made history!!! 8 shows at London O2 Arena" she tweeted excitedly "Thank you UK!!! First 7 sold out!! If #8 goes we just may spend the rest of the year in London!" The UK has so far proven to be Rihanna's strongest support system this era after it became the first market to sell a million copies of her latest album 'Loud'. Overall she places third in line to have so many sold-out shows at the 02 after Michael Jackson and Britney Spears. That Rihanna reign just won't let up huh? Now what?!?!

It's not the first time Rihanna has smashed UK records with her 'Loud' era. Last December, the unstoppable 23-year-old became the first female artist in 50 years to have THREE songs in the Top 10 Singles Chart. The ‘Umbrella’ songstress became the first to achieve this since Vera Lynn in 1952. And in January, the singer set a new record as the first female solo artist in UK chart history to achieve number one singles in five consecutive years!

She scored number one singles EVERY YEAR since 2007 with ‘Umbrella’, ‘Take A Bow’, ‘Run This Town’, ‘Only Girl’, and ‘What’s My Name’. The Official Charts Company announced her record after ‘What’s My Name?’ rose from number two to the top spot. The last artist to achieve this was Elvis Presley, who had UK numbers ones in each year between 1957 and 1963.

Congrats!
