Don't diss Cher Lloyd because her fans will serve you with a good plate of twitter pounding. Actress singer Cher found out the hard way when she insultingly tweeted “What is Cher Lloyd?”. Cher Lloyd was actually named after the 64-year-old but implied she had no idea who the flame-haired 17-year-old was. She then forced to apologise after her twitter was flooded with angry messages by hudreds of Cher Lloyd supporters. Gossip blogger Perez Hilton came to Cher's defence by tweeting: “There is only one Cher! And then there’s Cher Lloyd!”
X Factor runner-up Cher has more twitter followers than the much older veteran so she has already generated quite a fanbase. Her tweet was obviously intended to demean because her original question was "Who or What is Cher Lloyd?" so you could sense the negative tone. It only takes five seconds to type in 'Cher Lloyd' into a Google search engine and it took her even longer to type out a six worded question. Twitter certainly brings out the devil in people that's for sure. Lloyd has taken a short break from working on her debut album with RedOne and Will.i.am as she's currently on the X Factor tour.
