However, Faith could barely move which would probably have something to do with all of that hefty weight gain. She’s still a pretty lady though, and I was particularly mesmerised by Debarge’s smooth, fuchsia-coloured velvet jacket. Check it out!
‘Beautiful Life’ is a midtempo cut comprised of drum beat sounds and the aid of a Korg keyboard which he played the hell out of during the end. He name dropped this song previously which he wrote and produced in Paris. I’m not that crazy about the song and his rapping is just… well, leave the rapping to the rappers and stick to what you’re good at, Ryan.

It’s like listening to a school kid trying to convince everyone. The 21-year-old joined Big Sean to perform their song ‘Sh*t Got D*mn’ from his ‘In My Zone 2′ mixtape, as well as his hit single ‘Deuces’.

The sexy vixen took to the stage to perform her latest hit single ‘Pretty Girl Rock’, which recieved a Motown inspired make-over. You can check it out after the jump. It’s good to see that three weeks after her ‘No Boys Allowed’ album dropped in stores, she’s not letting that promo to dry up. Take notes Ciara!

The singer rang in the New Year by performing a couple of her hit songs including ‘Bleeding Love’ on the Sand party in Miami beach. Last night, she also attended Usher‘s ‘OMG’ afterparty at Dream nightclub (see after the jump). 2011 is also a big year for the singer because she’ll be releasing her third studio album this Spring. Click on the photo to view more images and proceed to watch a fan quality preview of the performance below.

I have to say, Beyonce looked lovely last night at the star-studded affair, and she definetely did the business with her performances. I’m definetely anticipating her new album this year. I hope we don’t have to wait too long for it. And I’m sticking by my prediction that it will see a release before Kelly Rowland. Get mad if ya want. I speak truth.

The track is featured in her new Weight Watchers commercial, and she belted her lungs away. Bet that felt good too! J.Hud will release her sophomore new album this year, courtesy of J. Records. I’m anticipating!

The 10-year-old decided to give us something a little different by performing a remix of the song and even switched up the energetic choreography! Although she was dancing her little ass off, those live vocals were very good! I predict good things for the year 2011, and Willow is set to rule it! The young star is also set to release her debut album this Spring courtesy of Roc Nation.

Nice performances! Ms Hilson really didn’t need to get all ghetto trash on us or sell out for those album sales. I personally feel she’d have sold 102K regardless. She never needed any gimmicks last year so why this year? There was an only an 8K increase from last years sales. But anyway, check out the performances below.

Marvin knows he was singing his heart out to Rochelle. Apparently, she attended their Wembly gig on Friday. They could still be “friends” of course but if I’m totally honest, I never did believe their break-up was the real deal. The timing was way too suspect, but whatever they feel needs to be done to pay the bills.

Given that this performance was her last time promoting the project (maternity leave), as well as the fact that she’s growing heavier and heavier by the minute, she can be excused.

A man in a crisp tuxedo and spectacles has never looked sexier, and
the fact that he can croon the hell out of some christmas songs just
adds to the appeal! Soul veteran Maxwell performed ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ and ‘Silent Night’ at President Barack Obama‘s ‘Christmas in Washington’ concert last week where he was backed by a massive choir. Watch the soulful performances below…Although newcomers Drake and Bruno Mars took to the stage, it was the highly energetic and established dancing extraordinaire who was the headliner of the show.

Cheryl Cole‘s performance aired last night on the Royal Variety show and her vocals were flatter than a warm can of coke!Last month, the 27-year-old took to the stage at the London Palladium to perform her second single ‘The Flood’, from her new album ‘Messy Little Raindrops’. Is it any wonder Cole makes it a habit of lipsyncing many of her performances? It totally destroys her validity as an X Factor judge especially due to the fact that she is paid millions to criticise somebody elses vocals.
Unfortunately, it just goes to show that nowadays, it’s not about having vocals anymore. It’s about having the “look”. Watch the monotone performance below.

Ciara SLAYED!!!!!! Your favourites could NEVER!!!!!!Not long ago on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Ciara delivered her very first televised performance of new single ‘Gimmie Dat’ from her new album ‘Basic Instinct’. The 25-year-old delivered a stunning performance of intricate choreography, complex dance steps and a tonne of other sexy moves.
It was absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!! That is HOW you perform. Like your life depends on it! I may not be a massive fan of Ciara’s music but her performances definetely set the standard. Check out mini Janet getting her sexy groove on after the jump!
Rebecca Ferguson and Christina Aguilera performed Aguilera’s classic hit ‘Beautiful’ on tonight’s X Factor final!
If there was EVER a massive mismatch on an X Factor Final, this would be it. Christina was too into herself and didn’t connect with Rebecca at all. It also lacked that TV Gold moment such as the jaw dropping Beyonce and Alexandra Burke duet. The performance was just blah to me. I was left underwhelmed. It was a very ungenerous performance as Aguilera did not allow Rebecca a moment. Can we say selfish? Aguilera totally overpowered the entire performance and she was looking like a bad Cyndi Lauper at that. As I was telling my readers this week, weight gain doesn’t suit everybody.
The 29-year-old diva then returned to the stage to perform ‘Express’ from her latest movie ‘Burlesque’. Watch both performances below.
Rihanna and contestant Matt Cardle performed Rihanna’s monster hit ‘Unfaithful’ on tonight’s X Factor Finale!
Rihanna put her duetting partner to SHAME! The problem is, this song did NOT suit Cardle AT ALL. He sounded very whiney and clearly could not shake off his cold. Poor Cardle DID sound sick and was sweating like a rapist at a women’s refuge. That’s the Rihanna effect I guess!
Rihanna isn’t considered one of the greatest singers. However, she outsung Cardle, and some would say, that’s not a good look for a potential X Factor winner. The 22-year-old later returned to the stage to perform her latest hit single ‘What’s My Name’ and delivered the same choreography as the one she did during this years American Music Awards. It’s nice to see the Bajan songstress putting more effort into her performances. She did great!

R&B star Keri Hilson did further promotion promotion for her upcoming new album ‘No Boys Allowed’ last night by visiting ‘Lopez Tonight’ for a performance and interview. The blonde vixen took to the stage to perform a newly revamped version of her latest single ‘Pretty Girl Rock’. She worked it out. However…Let’s just say the 28-year-old has no intention of toning down her overly sexed up image. The rebellious songstress strutted across the stage and did some choreography in bedazzled butt-baring attire – talk about making a statement! Watch the interview and performance below.

Those hardworking JLS boys took time out of their Arena tour to perform at yesterday’s Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball.
Chicks screamed the house down over the eight legs that occupied the
stage and it certainly wasn’t over fright! Their new album ‘Outta This World’ has now sold 227,641 copies in its second week.Although those numbers don’t touch what they did with their first album which sold MORE in its first week, the lads are still doing it big with their tour. Peep their performances of ‘Love You More’ and ‘The Club Is Alive’ after the jump.
The Black Eyed Peas made their X Factor return last night when they performed their newest single ‘The Time (Dirty Bit)’. The ear-bleeding performance had the quartet dressed in futuristic attire and featured dancers with light up boxes on their heads. Unfortunately, it showed that acts of this kind are slowly killing the music industry.
In fact, this performance was probably more cringeworthy and sh*t than anything Wagner ever did on the show. Sadly, I think my arse has produced more musical talent. Though I’m sure the younger folk enjoyed it due to it looking like one massive drugged out rave and encouraging them to wave around their glow sticks in the air. The power of The X Factor is absolutely astounding because no sooner after the group performed on the show, the song shot straight back into the top three on the UK itunes chart. BEP? Pure hype and no substance.
Is it just me or did they just REPEAT the EXACT same acts as last year? Kylie? Alexandra Burke? JLS? Cheryl Cole? Robbie Williams? BEP? Hmmm… ‘The Time’ is the lead single off BEP’s new album ‘The Beginning’ which is now available in stores worldwide.
Previous X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has some vocal chops on her, so I’m not quite understanding why her performance on tonight’s X Factor was so full of gimmicks. The singer flew on stage and delivered her first televised performance of new single ‘The Silence’ dressed up as The Pope. Real life cherabs floated in the air, whilst women were suspended from the ceiling playing violins upside down. It was like looking at some spiritual ritual.
The performance was vocally powerful, but all she needed on that stage was a damn microphone. Burke sung live, and further reminded viewers what The X Factor once stood for. That is, before the “singing” contest turned into a right farce or in the words of Leona Lewis, a “pantomine”. Shockingly, those words come from a previous X Factor champ who launched her career from the show. ‘The Silence’ is lifted from the 22-year-old’s re-released debut ‘Overcome’ which hits the shops tomorrow.

Nicole Scherzinger pressed on with her aggressive UK promo this week for latest new single ‘Poison’. Her latest stop was at yesterday’s Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball
where she delivered a high-energy performance of the track. The
32-year-old looked more like she’d stepped right off the set of ‘Star Wars’ when she appeared on stage rocking a skin tight red and black latex catsuit, and two knots on top of her head.Nicole continued to serve it up with the attitude but it’s not yet known whether such performances will be enough to secure the singer her first solo UK number one. Currently sitting in the top five on the itunes UK chart, Nicole is hoping it will score her the acclaimed number one spot when the singles chart is announced this evening. It would certainly be the breakthrough that she needs right now.

This weekend, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony
delivered an emotionally charged performance at a telethon in Mexico
City to raise money for a children’s charity. You’d never guess it
though as the performance, which they sang in Spanish, is probably one
of the sappiest displays of affection you will see this year.Still, at least you could see their love was genuine and crushing previous rumours that their marriage is struggling. Personally, we prefer to see J.Lo dancing her butt off but it didn’t really matter as it was all for a good cause. Plus, they DID offer an undisclosed donation to the telethon.
The second tribute of the night at ‘The 2010 Soul Train Awards’ was to Ron Isley and it included Eric Benet, El DeBarge, Freddie Jackson, Jeffrey Osborne and Peabo Bryson. The first two minutes of the 19-minute tribute was opened up by R&B songstress Keyshia Cole.
Although Ms Cole is often known for her off key performances, the 29-year-old has clearly invested in a vocal coach. I think she sounded great last night. Don’t get me wrong, there were a couple of shaky moments here and there but this is the best she has sounded in a long time and her vocal lessons are clearly paying off. Finally!

R&B star Chris Brown delivered a red hot hellraising performance last night at a free Thanksgiving concert which was hosted by super-producer Polow Da Don at Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta. The 21-year-old was definetely channeling his inner Michael Jackson with the moves and totally SMASHED his ‘I Can Transform Ya’ choreography. I’ve always wanted to see how it was done during front seat angle and now we finally get to!Breezy also performed several other hit singles from his back catalogue and also surprised the crowd by bringing out rapper Bow Wow to perform ‘Ain’t Thinkin’ Bout You’. Peep the performance video after the jump courtesy of KiddUNot.
Alexandra Burke performed at last night’s T4′s Stars of 2010 concert in London (November 21st). She performed her latest single ‘Start Without You’ complete with a new brunette weave and fresh choreography to boot. Raise your hands if hearing this song constantly makes you want to break the radio?
I want to enter 2011 without having to hear this song infest whatever location I’m at, but I’ll probably end up hearing it at MacDonalds when I grab breakfast or in Asda when I do my weekly shop. Just… go away!

Last night, legendary diva Mariah Carey showed off her vocal chops when she performed her new single ‘Oh Santa’
in New York City. The pregnant star took to the stage for the
Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting special, set to air on
Tuesday, November 30th on NBC. I’m not even sure how much of that was sung live but Mariah’s best friend, the backing track was certainly in play. Nevertheless, her garden gnome backing dancers and the kiddie dancers kept crowds entertained whilst Mimi delivered a strong vocal performance, complete with her trademark whistle notes. Watch some decent fan footage of the performance below.

Pop starlet Alexandra Burke took to the stage last night to perform previous number one hit single ‘Start Without You’ during the BBC’s annual ‘Children In Need’ fundraiser festivities. The former X Factor champ must have thought she was performing for ‘Men In Need’ instead because she delivered a highly sexualised performance dressed in nothing but laced lingerie.I wonder how many complaints were made to Ofcom about Burke’s outfit since this was a show dedicated to ‘CHILDREN in need’. Given the song’s raunchy nature, it would actually have been considerate of the 22-year-old to put some clothes on. Even just for this one particular performance, rather than parading around like some two dollar hooker. Children In Need is not a platform for promoting yourself. ‘Start Without You’ is one of the worst songs to drop this year and whilst I can admit she performs the hell out of it, there is in deed a time and place for everything.

UK boyband JLS have been performing their official ‘Children In Need’ single ‘Love You More’ pretty much everywhere this week. The lads performed the track on the main place where it matters most – during the BBC’s ‘Children In Need’
annual fundraiser festivities. The song is currently number one in the
UK midweeks. Therefore, the boys are on course to notch up their FOURTH
UK number one this coming Sunday! This performance was a lot better than their awful ‘X Factor’ performance but that’s not saying much. And as much as I love me some Marvin, singing ballads just shows him up to be the most vocally challenged in the group. Then again, that’s what having his looks is for. He may not sound that great but he’s fantastic to look at. Whilst his vocals come across as nasal, he at least provides the eye candy since that is what has become an essential trait with boybands these days (actually, for the past two decades). JB was certainly getting his John Legend on last night as well with his newly showcased piano skills. Peep the performance after the jump.
Pop starlet Cheryl Cole took to the stage last night to perform latest number one hit single ‘Promise This’ during the BBC’s annual ‘Children In Need’ fundraiser festivities. As she kicked off the show, the 27-year-old rocked a super heroine type ensemble.
The X Factor judge delivered live vocals during the acoustic opening of the song, and once the bass and the dancers placed themselves into action, it became her cue to lipsync to a backing track. That would be to assist her in paying focus on the complex dance routine she likes to incorporate in many of her performances, which came complete with suit wearing backing and ballet dancers. A Beyonce she certainly isn’t but her performances are always an entertainment to watch.
Exclusive new footage of Beyonce‘s ‘I Am… World Tour’ DVD has surfaced and this time, we get to watch the high quality performance of ‘Diva’. This particular clip is lifted from the 29-year-old’s DVD edition. As emphasised in the weekend Beyonce post, the singer’s dedicated work ethic is absolutely bananas. This is again brought to light in the clip below. Read on…

Willow Smith performed her new single ‘Whip My Hair’ on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’
recently (the episode aired today). Shortly before busting out into
some infectious choreography, the extremely talented 10-year-old did an
impromptu intro of Rihanna‘s latest hit single ‘Only Girl (In The World)’.What is there to say? The girl SMASHED it! She’s a bonafide pop star! If ever there was any doubt that Willow wouldn’t be able to transition that same swagger through to her live performances – she wiped those doubts clean away! No complaints on my side! As much as I love Rihanna, those few lines of ‘Only Girl’ was way better than Riri’s whole entire SNL performance! Can you imagine how she will sound several years down the line?

The 22-year-old started the show with a performance of her second single, ‘What’s My Name?’. The vocals weren’t exactly perfect but she proceeded to complement the Island-influenced R&B number with several grinding and wining here and there. Midway through, she had to check her boobs just to see if they were firmly in place. It was like watching the ‘Rude Boy’ performance all over again with with a little less oomph. The negative? Her backing singers practically drowned her out.
For the last part of the show, she performed her lead single ‘Only Girl (In The World)’, and as much as I love me some Princess Riri, the performance was all sorts of wrong. Something really weird was going on with her microphone and it didn’t sound very pretty. Isn’t autotune suppose to make you sound good? What was with the effects? And just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, she forgot her lyrics. Maybe I need my stanism card revoked or something because I cannot defend the performance even if I tried. I hated the rock-infused elements they added to the song as well. Then you had her backing singers not doing much to help her cause. Let’s hope and pray she does much better with her performance on tonight’s X Factor.
The X Factor judge, clad in an ivory tuxedo jacket and her favourite black bandage strips around the legs, mixed some semi live vocals with a backing track. She touched some hands and walked up and down the stage before delivering a spectacle of choreography with her crew of backing dancers.
The girl cannot sing to save her life but you’ve got to give it to Ms Cole. I’m sure she’s aware of her vocal limitations but certainly knows how to compensate for it with entertaining energetic dance-driven performances. Check out the performance after the jump.

Ms Milian is showing the whole world she is back in business after taking the time out to launch her new eye-wear line, ‘C.Millian Eye-Wear’. Terius Nash who?
Check out Christina throwing down on stage to the uberly hot ‘Zipper’ and her 2004 smash ‘Dip It Low’ after the jump. The video posted is a MUCH better quality than the other one that’s been floating around.

With the MTV VMAs coming up in just a few more days, can you believe this September marks a full decade since Britney Spears shocked the world with her ‘Oops/Satisfaction’ performance?Britney has not performed like this in years and some would say that after the K-Fed drama and the public breakdown, she has lost her stage swagger completely, but one thing she has not lost is her selling power and her ability to draw up hype. Britney Spears, we still salute you.
