If a certain individual is known for beating up his girlfriend and vice versa, it's understandable that many of us would want to distance ourselves by association. But what happens if it's a friend, or even worse, someone you're related to and care about? Do you still choose to distance yourself or risk further criticism by supporting that penalised and tainted individual? Chris Brown certainly found out who his true friends were when everybody hated him two years ago.
